TikTok is stealing money from it’s creators and someone has to do something about it.

But unfortunately, you can’t, since what they are doing is completely legal.

Unfair, but legal.

And there are creators who have lost up to $50,000 due to one of the craziest policies I have ever heard.

A policy that lets this company “steal” your money and you agreed to let it happen.

But I am getting ahead of myself.

Let’s start at the beginning and how I became a victim to this legal “theft”.

At the start of 2024, I decided to give selling on TikTok a shot. This was through what was basically an affiliate program on TikTok, which allows creators to sell a selection of products for a set commission.

The commission for these sells were (and still are) embarrassingly low, however, I saw others were able to earn a full time income from it, so I figured it would be worth it.

Looking back, I realize promoting a product only to earn 5% commission is highway robbery.

And to give you an idea of how bad this really is, 5% of $100 is $5.
