A couple of months ago, I sat down to film a YouTube video about side hustles. The script I created was full of the same lies and recycled garbage.
“I made $5,000 dropshipping!”
“These 5 side hustles made me $10,000!”
“Make passive income from this and that”
Truthfully, I hadn’t made a dime from any side hustles other than YouTube. And the ones I did make money from earned me only a couple of bucks. Who wants to hear about a few measly dollars though?
I had prepared myself to exaggerate and lie about my earnings. Hoping that the video would get me millions of views in the future. But I couldn’t bring myself to record it.

This video talked about the current state of finance YouTube. How creators were lying to get views and recycling the same information without doing real research.
