How Much Youtube Paid Me For 4,500,000 Views
A look into a faceless YouTubers analytics
Let me start by saying I started this Youtube channel as a joke. I saw many other creators in a specific niche getting hundreds and millions of views so I decided to start my channel to see how much I can make myself.
The beginning was rough. I was lacking any motivation to upload the videos I was making. They were boring and I grew tired of them quickly. However, despite being on the brink of giving up the whole channel. I managed to continue uploading.
Every video took about 5–6 hours and I put no commentary over any of them. Only text with a couple of funny clips. I would sit there on my crappy laptop for 5–6 hours a day typing and dragging away.
It was very exhausting.
I will have to say that the comments on every video are what kept me going. To see viewers genuinely enjoying my content gave me the push I needed to upload weekly.
Revenue and Stats
After about a couple of months, I struck gold:
The first month of the video earned me a payout of $4,200. This is because they only pay for each month's views.
I have been earning about $500 every month from just one video. This is insane considering it has been up for about 7 months.

I haven’t uploaded much after that one successful video because if it wasn't obvious enough. I am tired of the content I’m uploading on it. It grew repetitive and my focus has shifted to more serious content.
RPM and CPM
Compared to other YouTubers, $7,000 may look like a very small amount, and well, it is. My RPM started at only $1.00 per 1,000 views. It hasn’t grown much since July.
Imagine if my RPM was $5 per 1,000 views? I’d be rich haha
