How I Went From 0 To 500 Subscribers on YouTube
A small guide from a small creator
One of my newer YouTube channels has just hit 500 subscribers and I couldn’t be any more excited.
I worked my butt off to make content almost every week and it has paid off. I am halfway to being accepted into the partner program. Now, do I think I deserve more than only 500 for the work I put in? Of course, I do. But I am still grateful for every person who enjoys my videos enough to subscribe.
Okay, but why is 500 subscribers such a big deal?
Having 500 subscribers unlocks a new tab for your YouTube channel. This tab lets you interact more deeply with your community. You can post messages, polls, or images.
Some reasons this new feature is useful:
- Keeping your subscribers updated
- Giving subscribers behind the scenes content
- Promoting social media
- Posting hilarious images to spread some laughs
- Simply chatting with your subscribers
The community tab is such an amazing feature and hopefully, it motivates you to grind for those 500 subs. It's the perfect reward for the halfway checkpoint to YouTube partner.
