How I Scored My First Collaboration as a Small YouTuber

When I was younger, I couldn’t fathom the idea of becoming someone who checks their emails regularly. I thought this habit was only for people in the corporate business world.

Now, it has become almost an obsession. Refreshing my emails every morning, evening, and night. Since you never know what you can miss buried deep within that junk email folder. Like hot single moms in your area.

This has paid off, scoring me my first collaboration with a company, which I am hoping turns into a long-term partnership (here’s to wishful thinking).

But checking my emails regularly is only a small portion of what got me this collaboration, and I want to share how I managed to get such a thing as a creator with barely above 1,000 subscribers.

Becoming an “Original” Creator

There is never truly “original content” but there is such thing as being an “original” creator.

You see before I truly realized what type of content I wanted to create. I was copying what everyone else was doing. My thought process was, don’t fix what isn’t broken.
